Introducing our new Transitional Lead Pastor!

About a month ago we shared that as Pastor Brian, senior pastor for Centennial, retires in June, Centennial will be bringing in a Transitional Lead Pastor, appointed by the bishop, to help shepherd the church over the next 12 to 18 months. We are excited to now introduce you to Pastor Dave Comstock, who will be joining Centennial this summer!

The Staff Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) has had the privilege to get to know Pastor Dave Comstock over the last several months, and we are excited by his passion, his focus on each person within the church community, and his attentiveness to the Holy Spirit. We’ve also enjoyed talking through with him Centennial’s Strategic Plan and our focus to be a reconciling and welcoming church that helps us all to be authentic, thinking, active disciples. We’re excited to have with us someone who is experienced at helping congregations navigate through times of transition and lean into their mission, and to partner with Pastor Whitney and Pastor Jen to guide Centennial forward.

And as we look ahead to Pastor Brian’s retirement, please mark your calendars for June 5 for a special Sunday of worship and reception to celebrate Pastor Brian’s retirement and 20 years of ministry to Centennial!
